Key Responsibilities
- Own the product features from concept to end‑of‑life.
- Visualise and communicate the product roadmap, bringing innovative solutions and tasks to the team.
- Work with the development team to ensure a shared vision, inspire motivation, and drive timely delivery of innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers and other stakeholders to meet business, quality and functional goals.
- Represent end‑user needs, understanding both engineering and business aspects of the product.
- Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories that maximises business value.
- Translate business requirements into user stories in partnership with product architects and managers.
- Estimate and decompose user stories with the scrum master and technical leads, determining scope and priorities for sprints.
- Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally.
- Lead business management and market intelligence activities: aligning with European hubs to drive Busway offers, applying IEC standards, preparing detailed product analysis of competitors, and developing business cases with market data.
- Work closely with the productivity team for QVE, understand R&D and industrialization functions, and share product gaps and improvement inputs with the team.
Pre‑requisites
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering fields; MBA preferred.
- Strong market and product knowledge of Low Voltage Busways, equipment and systems.
- 8–10 years of experience in the LV distribution portfolio and product development.
- In‑depth knowledge of IEC standards and constructional/functional aspects of busways.
- Detailed product analysis of competition products and creation of business cases with market and competition data.
- Experience in R&D, industrialisation and Agile product development environments.
- Nice to have: prior Product Owner/Manager role, experience in marketing/BD/key accounts/sales, exposure to competitors such as Siemens, ABB, Eaton, or similar.
