Job summary

Palni is seeking a Senior Operations Executive Operations & Facilities to manage day-to-day workplace operations, facilities, vendors, maintenance, administration, and workplace projects in Hyderabad. You will ensure a safe, efficient, well-maintained, and employee-friendly workplace while coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and building management.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience in operations or facilities, strong vendor management, and hands-on knowledge of MEP systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in any discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in operations, facilities, or administration.
  • Hands-on experience with facility management, vendor management, procurement, and office administration.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, DG/UPS, fire & safety.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and operational reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations and facilities, including housekeeping, security, pantry, maintenance, workplace services, and employee requirements.
  • Coordinate MEP and facility infrastructure including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, DG, UPS, fire & safety, access control, lifts, and other building systems.
  • Monitor BMS and coordinate with building management/vendors for HVAC and other facility-related issues.
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance, breakdowns, AMC schedules, service requests, and timely closure of issues.
  • Manage vendors and service providers, including quotations, SLA, service quality, performance, negotiations, renewals, and invoice verification.
  • Handle procurement, inventory, office supplies, consumables, furniture, and operational assets with proper records and cost control.
  • Coordinate with HR, IT, Finance, Management, building management, contractors, and external vendors for workplace requirements.
  • Support new office setup, relocation, expansion, renovation, seating changes, and facility improvement projects, including tracking timelines and snags.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and ensure workplace hygiene, safety, security, and operational standards are maintained.
  • Maintain MIS, trackers, checklists, maintenance records, vendor documents, AMC details, inventory, and operational reports.
  • Support fire & safety requirements, emergency preparedness, statutory/compliance activities, and safety drills.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, and better workplace experience.
  • Take ownership of operational issues and ensure timely resolution, follow-up, and escalation where required.

  • Good communication, coordination, negotiation, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and operational reporting.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in a corporate / IT office environment or large/multi-floor workplace.
  • Knowledge of MEP, BMS, HVAC, preventive maintenance, AMC/SLA management, and building operations.
  • Experience in office setup, relocation, expansion, renovation, or workplace projects.
  • Strong vendor management, cost-control, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
