Senior Network Security Engineer

Job summary

SNS India, a leading cybersecurity firm, seeks a Fortinet-focused engineer to install, configure, and support Fortinet Firewalls in customer environments from Pune. You will deploy FortiAnalyzer/ FortiManager and Fortinet SD-WAN, perform upgrades, health checks, and troubleshoot issues onsite or remotely.

You will collaborate with customers, document activities, and coordinate with OEM support for complex problems while staying updated on Fortinet technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Hands-on experience with Check Point or Palo Alto Networks security solutions.
• Certifications NSE/FCP, CCNA or equivalent are an added advantage.
• Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
• Willingness to travel within Pune and nearby locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support Fortinet Firewalls in customer environments.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, Fortinet SD-WAN, and Fortinet Switches.
• Perform implementation, migration, upgrades, health checks, and troubleshooting of Fortinet solutions.
• Provide onsite/ remote installation, configuration, and technical support to customers across Pune.
• Diagnose and resolve network security incidents while ensuring minimal service disruption.
• Work closely with customers to understand requirements and provide technical recommendations.
• Document implementation activities, configurations, and support cases.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams and OEM support for complex issues.
• Stay updated with the latest Fortinet technologies, security trends, and best practices.
