Job summary

We are hiring a Firewall Engineer to install, configure, and support FortiGate and Check Point firewalls, with onsite and remote customer engagement.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/EE, CCNA mandatory, and Malayalam proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
• CCNA certification mandatory.
• Fortinet or Check Point certifications are an added advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Malayalam language proficiency is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel for onsite support.
• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot FortiGate and CheckPoint firewall solutions.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, security, and firewall-related issues.
• Perform implementation, configuration changes, upgrades, and routine maintenance of network security devices.
• Coordinate with customers to understand technical requirements and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, incidents, and implementation activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality customer support and project execution.
• Good hands-on experience with FortiGate or Check Point firewall technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall concepts.
