Job summary

Forward is seeking a procurement professional to manage IT infrastructure, hardware, software, and services across PAN India. You will negotiate with vendors, forecast requirements, and ensure timely procurement closures.

You will also develop MIS to track performance, savings, and KRAs, while initiating cost-reduction plans and driving process improvements. Strong vendor relations and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Experience in IT procurement and vendor management.
• Ability to forecast needs and manage contracts.
• Experience creating MIS reports and KPIs.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder handling.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with vendors for IT infrastructure, hardware, software and services.
• Plan and administer procurement needs across PAN India IT purchases.
• Create and analyze MIS to monitor TATs, savings and KRAs.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and improve processes.
• Handle queries from business users and vendors.

Role & responsibilities:-

Negotiations & Vendor Management:-

Negotiate with vendors for complete IT Infrastructure, Hardware, Software, Cloud, IT security, AMC, MPLS, End User Computing (Desktop, laptop, printer etc), Resources and services. Understanding the requirement and freezing the scope. Sourcing new vendors for better services and required for new projects. Regular meeting with vendors for feedback sessions. Monitoring Vendors & Consumption of various products and Services. Increase the spread for already of already empanelled vendors.

Plan & administer procurement needs:-

Identify the needs and nature of product and services required along with their specifications PAN India for IT related purchases. Ensure forecasting of requirement and timely closures of recurring requirements. Study and compare the industry trends and price benchmarking based on market intelligence. Ensure timely Acquisition, distribution and supply. Timely closure of legal agreements

Creating and analyzing MIS:-

MIS for monitoring TATs, savings as per KRA, closure of actionable based on stakeholders expectations. Keep a cost check through MIS analysis.

Taking new initiatives:-

Developing plans which are required for betterment of present processes. Evolving various cost reduction techniques. Process and system improvements.

Query handling:-

Resolving the issues raised by Business users and vendors.
