Job summary

Qualifications

• Post Graduate in IT, Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in IT procurement, technology buying or strategic sourcing for hardware and software.
• Experience working with OEMs, distributors, resellers and IT service providers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of laptops, desktops, peripherals, networking equipment, software licenses, cloud subscriptions, AMC and renewals.
• Validate requirements, specifications and approval requirements with IT, Information Security, Finance and business stakeholders.
• Source vendors, obtain quotations and prepare commercial comparisons for IT hardware and software purchases.
• Negotiate with OEMs, distributors, resellers and service providers on pricing, delivery timelines, terms and renewals.
• Evaluate vendors based on commercials, technical compliance, delivery commitment, service capability and contract terms.
• Manage software license renewals, subscription tracking and related procurement compliance.
• Coordinate PO creation, delivery tracking, invoice support and closure with procurement operations and Finance.
• Drive cost savings, vendor consolidation, market benchmarking and procurement planning for IT spend.

Responsible for sourcing and procurement of IT hardware, software, licenses, subscriptions, renewals and IT services. The role will focus on requirement validation, vendor negotiation, commercial comparison, cost optimization and timely closure of IT procurement requirements.

Role & responsibilities :

• Manage procurement of laptops, desktops, peripherals, networking equipment, software licenses, cloud subscriptions, AMC and support renewals.
• Work with IT, Information Security, Finance and business stakeholders to validate requirements, specifications and approval requirements.
• Source vendors, obtain quotations and prepare commercial comparisons for IT hardware and software purchases.
• Negotiate with OEMs, distributors, resellers and service providers on pricing, delivery timelines, support terms and renewal commercials.
• Evaluate vendors based on commercials, technical compliance, delivery commitment, service capability and contract terms.
• Manage software license renewals, subscription tracking, warranty support, AMC documentation and related procurement compliance.
• Coordinate PO creation, delivery tracking, invoice support and closure with procurement operations and Finance teams.
• Drive cost savings, vendor consolidation, market benchmarking and procurement planning for IT spend.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Post Graduate in IT, Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in IT procurement, technology buying or strategic sourcing for hardware and software categories.
• Experience working with OEMs, distributors, resellers and IT service providers is preferred.
