Job summary

Kusum is seeking a seasoned Procurement leader to drive Capex and Opex sourcing for Production, Packing, QC, Engineering and site needs in a pharma manufacturing environment. You will own end-to-end procurement, vendor development and negotiations to secure best terms.

Key focus areas include supplier management, AMC, spares and service contracts, ensuring compliance with policy and timely delivery, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to optimize cost, quality, and delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering (or equivalent) required.
• MBA/PG Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement or Commercial Management an added advantage.
• 12-16 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Job description

Role Purpose

To lead and manage Capex and Opex procurement activities for Production, Packing, Quality Control (QC), Engineering and site requirements, ensuring timely procurement of equipment, instruments, materials and services at optimum cost, quality and commercial terms.

The role will be responsible for managing the complete procurement cycle, vendor development, commercial negotiations, site procurement, AMC, spares and service contracts while ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and business requirements.

Qualification:

Experience:

• 1216 years of relevant experience in Commercial / Procurement, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing industry.
• Strong experience in Capex and Opex procurement, particularly production/packing equipment, QC instruments, material handling equipment, AMC, spares and site services.
• Experience in project procurement, equipment procurement and vendor negotiations is preferred.

Preferred Industry Exposure

Candidates with experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing / formulation facilities, including procurement of Production, Packing, QC, Engineering and Project-related equipment, will be preferred.
