Job summary

Piramal Pharma Ltd seeks a Chief Manager- Supply Chain to lead Capex procurement for pharma API, Formulation and Chemicals facilities. The role requires 15-20 years of experience in pharma/related industries and independence in capital procurement activities.

Reporting to Head CAPEX Procurement, you will drive strategic sourcing, supplier selection, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure project success and compliance with regulations and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• 15-20 years in a good organization in Pharma / FMCG / Chemical industries.
• Should have handled Capital procurement activity independently.
• Strategic Sourcing and execute Capex procurement strategies.
• Supplier and contractor selection for major capital projects.
• Relationship management with suppliers and service providers.
• Performance monitoring of supplier contracts and compliance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, finance, legal, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Capex procurement activities for APIs, Formulation & Chemicals facilities.
• Align procurement plans with business objectives to manage capital expenditure.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers/contractors for major capital projects.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, cost, and timely delivery.

Competencies o Should have handled Capex procurement for API, Formulation & Chemicals facilities in Pharma industry (Annual Spend Volume Rs. 500-700 Crore) oExposure in pharma process equipment, Utility equipment’s & contracts (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC etc.) oData Analytics oSound reporting and presentation skills oExperience in working across complex Service & Supply agreements ( Domestic & International) oDemonstrated success in negotiating with Vendors oClear communication skills, both verbally and in written format. oStrong analytical and problem solving skills, Good in MS Excel oAbility to influence key stakeholders Essential Qualification Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/Civil / Chemical/ Electrical) degree from a reputed institute.
