Job summary

ONEPWS (Pyrotech Workspace Solutions) is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead end-to-end purchasing in Rajasthan. You will drive sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely material delivery for manufacturing and projects.

The role requires strong negotiation, SAP proficiency, and team leadership, with collaboration across Production, Projects, Stores, Quality, Engineering, Finance and Sales teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Purchase & Procurement Management.
• Experience in project-based procurement preferred.
• Costing, quotation comparison and commercial negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete Purchase & Procurement function from requirement generation to material delivery.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost, quality and delivery objectives.
• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable vendors and suppliers for raw materials, components and services.
• Source materials based on production, project and operational requirements.
• Obtain and analyze quotations, negotiate price, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial conditions.
• Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure compliance with approved terms.
• Monitor supplier performance with respect to quality, cost and delivery (QCD).
• Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid production/project delays.
• Develop alternate sources and maintain a strong vendor database to minimize supply risks.
• Conduct regular market research for price trends, new suppliers and alternative materials.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Projects, Stores, Quality, Engineering, Finance and Sales/Project teams.
• Track pending POs and ensure timely follow-up with suppliers.
• Resolve issues related to material shortages, quality, delivery delays and commercial discrepancies.
• Manage procurement for both project-specific and regular manufacturing requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation, purchase records, comparative statements and vendor-related data.
• Support inventory and working capital optimization by ensuring procurement planning.
• Lead vendor negotiations and drive cost reduction and savings initiatives.
• Participate in vendor audits, evaluations and performance reviews.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and approval processes.
• Handle a team of purchase executives/buyers and monitor their performance.

• Experience in project-based procurement will be preferred.
• Good understanding of costing, quotation comparison and commercial negotiations.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Good knowledge of SAP/Purchase Management systems.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
• Strong team management and coordination skills.
