Job summary

1840 Micron Tech. OP India LLP is seeking a Senior Layout Designer in Hyderabad with 4+ years of layout experience. The role requires hands-on Cadence VXL work on periphery blocks and strong debugging skills for LVS/DRC issues.

You will create layouts for analog and digital blocks, ensuring adherence to design rules and performance targets. Join a team delivering complex blocks such as sensors, PLLs, ADCs, DACs, LDOs, and reference generators.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in layout.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for LVS, DRC & layout issues.
• Hands-on experience creating layout of critical blocks such as Temperature sensor, PLL, ADC, DAC, LDO, Bandgap, Ref Generators, Charge Pump, Current Mirrors, Comparator, Differential Amplifier, etc.
• Good understanding of Analog Layout fundamentals such as Matching, Electro-migration, Latch-up, coupling, crosstalk, IR-drop, active and passive parasitic devices, etc.
• Good understanding of layout effects on the circuit such as Speed, Capacitance, Power, and Area, etc.
• Good understanding of the Design rules and ability to deliver quality layout.
• Ability to understand design constraints and implement high-quality layouts.
• Good understanding of automation and leveraging AI tool proficiency to enable your work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the layout process including floor‑planning, placement, and routing.
• Deliver mid‑size blocks, including signal and floorplan, in Core/Pitch and periphery area.
• Work with Design and other engineering groups to apply multiple layout techniques for the design and verification of Array, Digital and Analog circuits.
• Execute secondary layout tasks such as ECO, LCO and DFM.
• Coordinate with TD, Design, CAD, and layout teams to deliver on schedule with quality.
