Job summary

RECEX Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly creative Interior Designer to lead projects from concept to execution in Kolkata. The role demands strong design sensibility, technical expertise, client-handling capabilities, and adept project coordination to deliver innovative and functional interiors.

The ideal candidate will manage space planning, material selection, 3D visualizations, and detailed documentation, while coordinating with architects, consultants, and vendors to meet timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field required.
• Strong design sensibility and presentation skills with a solid portfolio.
• Experience across residential, commercial, hospitality, or luxury interior projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design & Concept Development: develop creative concepts, mood boards, space planning, and material selections.
• Understand client requirements, lifestyle preferences, and project objectives to inform design decisions.
• Create design presentations, concept drawings, and 3D visualizations for client review.
• Ensure designs align with brand guidelines, functionality, budget, and timelines.
• Technical Design & Documentation: prepare detailed drawings including layouts, elevations, sections, and joinery details.
• Develop BOQs, specifications, material schedules, and furniture layouts; review drawings for feasibility.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and execution teams throughout the project.
• Project Management: lead projects from design development to final execution; conduct site visits, measurements, and inspections.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, and quality standards; resolve design-related challenges during execution.
• Client Management: present concepts, manage feedback, and ensure client satisfaction through regular communication.
• Vendor & Team Coordination: work with contractors, vendors, suppliers, and procurement teams; guide junior designers.
