The candidate should have 4–8 years of hands-on experience with real estate development or design firms, strong AutoCAD and SketchUp skills, and an eye for materials, finishes, and space planning.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, layouts, mood boards, and material palettes for residential and commercial spaces.
• Design and execute sample flats, lobbies, and premium spaces.
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, elevations, and working drawings for execution.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP, contractors, vendors and internal teams.
• Conduct site visits to ensure execution aligns with approved designs and specs.
• Manage materials, finishes, fixtures, budgets, and timelines.
• Maintain design documentation and secure timely approvals from stakeholders.

Job description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to manage the design and execution of interior spaces across our premium residential and commercial real estate projects. The role will involve taking projects from concept and design development through execution, while ensuring quality, timelines, functionality, and design standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop interior design concepts, layouts, mood boards, material palettes, and detailed design proposals for residential and commercial spaces.
• Design and execute sample flats, lobbies, amenities, common areas, and other premium spaces.
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, elevations, and working drawings for execution.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
• Conduct regular site visits and ensure execution is in line with approved designs and specifications.
• Manage selection and application of materials such as marble, flooring, ceiling finishes, bathroom finishes, wall finishes, furniture, and fixtures.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to resolve design and execution-related issues.
• Monitor quality, timelines, and adherence to approved designs and budgets.
• Develop and maintain design documentation and ensure timely approvals from relevant stakeholders.
• Stay updated on contemporary interior design trends, materials, finishes, and industry practices.

Required Skills :

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of relevant experience, preferably with a real estate developer, design consultancy, or architectural firm.
• Strong experience in premium residential and/or commercial interior projects.
• Hands-on experience from conceptualisation and designing through execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; knowledge of Canva and other design tools is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, detailing, and construction processes.
• Good vendor, contractor, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail, aesthetics, space planning, and design sensibility.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within timelines.
