Overview

We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Interior Designer to lead the design and execution of commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, leadership, and strategic thinking to deliver exceptional spaces that reflect our brand’s aesthetic and meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conceptual Design Leadership: Lead the conceptualization of interior design projects, ensuring alignment with brand vision and market relevance. Collaborate with design leadership to define and maintain project aesthetics tailored to location, program, and client needs. Develop and maintain a comprehensive design standards handbook across various categories. Ensure innovative, sustainable, and functional design solutions. Translate client briefs into compelling design concepts that balance aesthetics and usability. Present design proposals to internal teams, clients, and senior stakeholders.
2. Project Coordination: Liaise with external consultants throughout the design lifecycle. Maintain quality control across design elements, ensuring adherence to specifications and timelines. Facilitate seamless transition from concept to execution in collaboration with project management teams. Lead a multidisciplinary team of designers, architects, and visualizers. Assign tasks, manage timelines, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs. Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement. Create and implement a design playbook that defines brand aesthetics and typologies.
3. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between clients, architects, and vendors. Conduct stakeholder presentations to review progress and incorporate feedback. Provide regular updates on project milestones and ensure stakeholder alignment.
4. Design Documentation: Oversee the creation of concept designs, detailed drawings, mood boards, and visual presentations. Ensure documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with execution requirements. Collaborate with project managers to meet documentation standards and timelines.
5. Aesthetic Development: Ensure design aesthetics meet brand expectations and industry standards. Refine concepts to enhance visual appeal while maintaining functionality.
6. Material Selection: Research and select materials that meet performance and aesthetic goals. Partner with suppliers to source sustainable and innovative materials.
7. Architectural Collaboration: Work closely with architects to integrate structural elements into cohesive designs. Conduct regular coordination meetings to align architectural and design objectives.
8. Landscape Coordination: Collaborate with landscape architects to design outdoor spaces that complement interiors. Ensure landscape plans enhance user experience and align with overall project goals.

Qualifications and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Certification from recognized design institutions (e.g., CIDQ, NCIDQ, LEED accreditation) is a plus.
• 10-14 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio of both commercial and residential projects.
• Proven experience in leading design teams and managing end-to-end design processes.
• Demonstrated ability to translate client requirements into innovative and functional design solutions.

• Strong expertise in interior design principles, space planning, and material selection. Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Suite) and documentation standards.
