Job summary

Galenta Interiors in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead residential and commercial interior design projects from concept to completion. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, prepare layouts and drawings, select materials, and ensure designs meet client requirements, budgets, and timelines.

You will mentor junior designers and uphold design quality across multiple projects, coordinating with site teams to ensure accurate execution and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in residential interior design.
• Strong design visualization and client handling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete interior design process, including concept development, space planning, and detailed design.
• Prepare layout plans, working drawings, and design presentations.
• Develop mood boards, material selections, color schemes, and furniture specifications.
• Ensure designs align with client requirements, budget, and project timelines.
• Meet clients to understand requirements, preferences, and functional needs.
• Present design concepts and explain technical details clearly.
• Incorporate client feedback while maintaining design integrity.
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare detailed drawings for execution including modular furniture, electrical, plumbing, and false ceiling layouts.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and execution teams.
• Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation meets specifications.
• Resolve design-related issues during execution.
• Mentor and guide junior designers.
• Review and approve drawings and design proposals from junior team members.
• Maintain design standards and consistency across projects.
