Job summary

Stockarea is hiring an Inventory Control Executive to manage and optimize inventory across corporate offices in Chennai and Mumbai. The role requires up to 4 years of experience in logistics or inventory control and strong Excel/Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Oversee use and optimization of ERP and inventory management systems.
• Generate and present inventory performance reports to senior management.
• Lead and train inventory control staff for high performance and compliance.
• Collaborate with planning and logistics teams to support demand forecasting and supply planning.
• Support finance and audit teams in inventory valuation and year-end audits.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce inventory costs and enhance efficiency.
