Job summary

Stockarea (Meinigar Technologies Pvt Ltd) is hiring a Procurement Executive - Warehousing to oversee end-to-end procurement for warehouse operations in Chennai. The role requires building strong vendor networks and managing POs, contracts, and documentation.

Ideal candidates have 1-4 years in procurement or warehousing, with MBA in related fields and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP systems. Hindi and English language skills are mandatory for coordination with teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent with focus on supply chain, procurement, or operations.
• 1-4 years experience in procurement, warehousing, or logistics.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and ERP systems; vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement for warehouse operations, sourcing materials, equipment and services.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard vendors for quality and cost efficiency.
• Create and manage POs, quotations, contracts, and procurement docs.
• Coordinate with warehouse, operations, inventory and finance to fulfill requirements.
• Track supplier performance and resolve pricing, quality and delivery issues.
• Analyze procurement spend and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with policies and audits.
• Prepare procurement reports and support strategic sourcing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Manage end-to-end procurement for warehouse operations, including sourcing materials, equipment, and services.
• 2. Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• 3. Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs), quotations, contracts, and procurement documentation.
• 4. Coordinate with warehouse, operations, inventory, and finance teams to fulfill procurement requirements.
• 5. Track supplier performance and resolve issues related to pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
• 6. Analyze procurement spend and identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements.

Requirements

Skills Required:

• 1. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• 2. Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
• 3. Experience in Warehousing, Logistics, or 3PL operations.
• 4. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and ERP systems.
• 5. Good vendor management and stakeholder coordination skills.
• 6. Language Skills: Hindi (Mandatory) and English.

Qualification:

• 1. MBA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or Procurement.
• 2. Bachelor's degree with relevant procurement experience will also be considered.
