Job summary

Stockarea, a leader in logistics and freight forwarding, seeks a Manager - Warehouse Infrastructure to lead design, planning, and optimization of warehouse infrastructure in Chennai. You will evaluate 3PL partners, manage vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts to drive cost-effective solutions.

The role requires 4-8 years of experience in a Full-time capacity, with a focus on commercials, sourcing, and cross-functional coordination to meet performance targets and drive operational

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse infrastructure design and optimization.
• Expertise in 3PL operations and contract management.
• Strong vendor sourcing, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Commercial acumen with cost analysis and budgeting.
• Project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and maintain warehouse infrastructure.
• Evaluate and select 3PL partners.
• Manage end-to-end vendor relationships, including onboarding, performance, and compliance.
• Negotiate contracts and commercials with suppliers and service providers.
• Monitor warehouse construction, layout design, and equipment installation.
• Oversee sourcing strategies to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
• Ensure 3PL operations meet quality, cost, and delivery benchmarks.
• Analyze cost structures and implement cost-saving initiatives across warehouse operations.
• Conduct periodic vendor audits and risk assessments to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to align infrastructure and sourcing plans with business goals.
