Job summary

Arm in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced timing engineer to drive timing closure at SoC and block levels. You will own timing constraints, perform analyses with PrimeTime, Tempus and Tweaker, and track ECOs through to closure in collaboration with PD, Design, and Constraint teams.

You will also integrate IP timing and support signoff, while leveraging data analysis skills to communicate findings and recommendations effectively across silicon engineering groups and with EDA vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in timing closure at SoC and block level.
• Proficient with industry STA tools PrimeTime, Tempus, Tweaker.
• IP integration and timing signoff.
• Worked on lower technology nodes, preferably sub 7nm.
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills.
• Proficient in TCL/ PERL or Python.
• Collaborates across silicon Eng groups and with EDA vendors.
• 2–5 years in Physical Implementation and Signoff methodologies.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in performing timing closure at SoC level and block level
• Hands‑on experience with industry leading STA and ECO generation tools (PrimeTime, Tempus, Tweaker)
• IP integration and timing signoff
• Must have worked on lower technology nodes, preferably sub 7nm
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills
• Well versed with TCL/PERL or Python
• Experience in collaborating across silicon engineering groups in your organization as well as with EDA vendors
• Work experience of 2‑5 years in Physical Implementation and Signoff methodologies
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
