Job summary

Flender in Chennai seeks a seasoned Order Management Lead to manage the full order lifecycle from entry to delivery. You will partner with Sales, Production and Logistics to ensure on-time performance and clear customer communication. Experience with SAP ERP/SAP S/4HANA and BI tools is highly valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in order management, customer service or supply chain.
• Leadership experience and ability to partner with sales and production.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, disposition and control of all customer orders from entry to delivery.
• Track open orders and improve on-time delivery with Supply Chain, Production and Logistics.
• Ensure transparent communication with customers and Sales on order status and delays.
• Align with Global Order Management on revenue, delivery performance and problem-solving.
• Harmonize and automate Order Management processes with IT and Global OM.
• Define and document SOPs and ensure adherence.
• Leverage Flender Analytic Cloud (FAC) for KPIs and decision-making.
• Act as key business partner for SAP S/4HANA transformation in Order-to-Cash.

Job description

• Lead planning, disposition and control of all customer orders from order entry to delivery
• Track all open orders and improve delivery reliability (on‑time delivery) in close collaboration with Supply Chain, Production and Logistics.
• Ensure transparent communication with customers and Sales on order status and identify potential delays or bottlenecks at an early stage.
• Align with Global Order Management on revenue, delivery performance and problem‑solving
• Harmonize and automate Order Management processes in alignment with IT and Global OM
• Define and document standard operating procedures and ensure adherence.
• Use and further develop the Flender Analytic Cloud (FAC) for KPIs and decision‑making
• Act as key business partner for the SAP S/4HANA transformation in Order-to-Cash
• Several years of experience in Order Management / Customer Service / Supply Chain, incl. leadership
• Strong expertise in order‑to‑cash processes and delivery performance
• Experience with SAP ERP; SAP S/4HANA and BI/analytics tools (e.g. SAC) are a plus
• Very good English skills and strong stakeholder management
• Hands‑on, analytical, and comfortable in an international environment
