Job summary

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and uphold safety and environmental standards.

The role requires strong problem-solving, ability to work independently, and collaboration with teams to minimize downtime and maintain compliance with IMS, EMS, QMS and OHSMS standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Strong preventive maintenance experience and fault diagnosis.
• Familiarity with MTTR/MTBF calculations and records.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Prepare MTTR and MTBF for machines.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and take corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Update ISO documents related to IMS, EMS, QMS, and OHSMS.
• Install, commission and test new equipment and systems.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules.

Role Specific Competencies

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on all equipment and facilities to ensure their optimal operation and minimize downtime.
• Preparation of MTTR, and MTBF for all necessary machines.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and take appropriate corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Preparation and updating of ISO documents related to IMS, EMS, QMS, and OHSMS.
• Install, commission, and test new equipment and systems.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to ensure equipment and facilities are maintained in accordance with relevant standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including spare parts inventory and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with other departments and external suppliers to ensure equipment is maintained and repaired in a timely and cost-effective manner.
