Versuni Netherlands in Pudupakkam, India seeks a Senior Engineer Maintenance to oversee injection molding machine upkeep, preventive and breakdown management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience and a Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics engineering. You will coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in maintenance is preferred.
• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Handle maintenance of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and servo-controlled injection molding machines.
• Troubleshoot and rectify machine breakdowns related to hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, heaters, thermocouples, sensors, PLCs, and controllers.
• Maintain injection molding machines of different tonnages and makes.
• Diagnose issues related to injection, clamping, ejection, screw rotation, plasticizing, and temperature control systems.
• Coordinate with production and tooling teams to minimize machine downtime.
• Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules for machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, oil condition checks, filter replacement, and component inspections.
• Monitor machine performance and identify potential failures before breakdowns occur.
• Maintain preventive maintenance checklists, equipment history cards, and maintenance records.
• Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Attend machine breakdowns promptly and restore equipment within the targeted downtime.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for major and repetitive failures.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment reliability.
• Track and improve machine availability, MTTR, and MTBF.
• Support TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
