Job summary

Ashvini Magnets Pvt. Ltd. requires an experienced maintenance professional to oversee electrical and mechanical maintenance of utility systems and production lines.

You will work on gas systems, furnaces, and all safety-compliant operations within a high-precision manufacturing environment. The role covers maintenance of diesel generators, air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, and RO/DM water plants, along with injection moulding lines and associated automation equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems in industrial plants.
• Familiarity with gas systems (Argon, Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Ammonia) and safety compliance.
• Experience with injection moulding lines and plant auxiliary equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of utilities including DG sets, air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, RO/DM water plants.
• Oversee injection moulding lines and extrusion lines with associated equipment (take-out robots, mold temp controllers, granulators).
• Handle pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum systems; maintain valves, regulators, cylinders, etc.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• UTILITIES: Should be proficient in electrical and mechanical maintenance of utility equipments like, Diesel Generators, Air Compressors, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Reverse Osmosis System, Demineralized Water Plants etc.
• INJECTION MOULDING And EXTRUSION LINES: Experience in compounding lines, injection molding machines & molding plant auxiliary like Take-Out Robots, Mold temperature controllers, Granulators, Loaders & Dehumidifiers etc. will be preferred.
• PNEUMATIC, HYDRAULIC, VACUUM: Should be proficient in handling Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Vacuum systems along with maintenance of all individual components like valves, regulators, reservoirs, cylinders, blowers etc.
• GAS SYSTEMS: Should be able to do fool proof installation, inspection, testing, repairing and maintenance of various gas services and related equipments and ensuring the system is running efficiently and safely. Should be able to handle various gas systems like ARGON, NITROGEN, HYDROGEN, AMMONIA etc. Should also ensure that gas installations comply with safety regulations.
• FURNACES: Should have basic experience in maintenance of various types of Furnaces including Gas Fired Furnaces, Resistance Furnaces, and Vacuum Furnaces etc. Knowledge about maintenance of various types of Insulations, Heaters and Thermocouples shall be an added advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

• Should have basic knowledge of all machining processes like turning, milling, grinding etc.
• Should have in depth knowledge of and should be able to handle all basic mechanical maintenance activities like Greasing, Lubrication, Change of bearings, and removal of leakages from compressed air lines, oil pipings etc.
• Should be able to inspect electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures and other components to ensure they remain functional and are up to the required standards as well as to identify any hazards or potential failures.
• Should be able to repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, equipment and other components so that they remain fully functional.
• Repair and replace defective components in motors, generators, controllers, storage batteries, switchboards, conductors, switches and varied electrical fixtures. Install, maintain and repair electrical, electromechanical and electronic parts of machinery and equipment.
• Should be proficient in mechanical maintenance activities, fault finding, and repair of Plant, Systems and Equipments. Should be able to perform checking, repairing and servicing machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructures.
• Should have good knowledge of jigs, fixtures, limits, fits, tolerances, surface finish etc.
