Job summary

Sify Infinit Spaces Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer HVAC to ensure 24/7 availability and reliability of data center HVAC and cooling systems at Navi Mumbai (Rabale). You will monitor temperature/humidity, perform daily health checks via BMS/SCADA, and coordinate with OEMs and contractors for maintenance.

You will analyze performance, lead root cause analyses for incidents, and drive energy conservation initiatives including PUE improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in data center HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of BMS/SCADA monitoring and alarms.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.
• Focus on energy conservation and PUE improvements.
• Coordinate with OEMs, vendors and contractors for maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 24/7 availability and reliability of HVAC and cooling systems.
• Monitor data hall temperature/humidity within SLA limits.
• Perform daily health checks of HVAC equipment via BMS/SCADA and field inspections.
• Analyze performance and recommend improvements for reliability and energy efficiency.
• Troubleshoot failures and lead root cause analyses for critical incidents.
• Coordinate with OEMs, vendors and contractors for maintenance.
• Review SOPs, MOPs, EOPs and related procedures.
• Ensure alarms are investigated and resolved within SLA timelines.
• Monitor chiller efficiency, cooling tower performance, pumps, PAHU/PAC, VFD.
• Support audits and inspections, and assist commissioning activities.
• Drive energy conservation initiatives and monitor PUE improvements.

Job Description Senior Engineer HVAC

1. Ensure 247 availability and reliability of all HVAC and cooling systems.
2. Monitor and maintain data hall temperature and humidity within SLA limits.
3. Perform daily health checks of HVAC equipment through BMS/SCADA and field inspections.
4. Analyze HVAC system performance and recommend improvements for reliability and energy efficiency.
5. Troubleshoot HVAC equipment failures and lead root cause analysis for critical incidents.
6. Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and contractors for maintenance and breakdown support.
7. Review and approve SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, and maintenance procedures related to HVAC systems.
8. Ensure all HVAC alarms are investigated and resolved within SLA timelines.
9. Monitor chiller efficiency, cooling tower performance, and pump operations and PAHU/PAC, VFD.
10. Support customer audits, internal audits, and statutory inspections.
11. Support commissioning, FAT/SAT, and integration of new HVAC equipment.
12. Drive energy conservation initiatives and monitor HVAC-related PUE improvements.
