Job summary

Exyte India in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Engineer- HVAC with 8+ years of experience in Pharma/ATF/Industrial projects to lead HVAC design and project coordination.

Data center experience is mandatory; you will perform heat load calculations, AHU zoning, ducting and piping layouts, and ensure compliance with ASHRAE, NFPA, ISPE, WHO, FDA, EU and Leeds guidelines.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with hosts/clients and other disciplines, and drive best practices across the discipline.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineer with 8+ years of experience in Pharma / ATF Industry/Industrial projects.
• Expert level knowledge in HVAC Engineering including design calculations, zoning, air flow diagrams, ducting and piping layouts.
• Expert level knowledge of international standards (ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, NFPA, ISPE, WHO, FDA, EU & Leeds).
• Expertise in interdisciplinary coordination across project phases.
• Basic knowledge of 3D/2D design tools (Revit & AutoCAD).

• Troubleshooting of critical HVAC engineering issues.

• Lead and supervise Engineers/ Designers / Modelers; mentor juniors

Job Summary:

• Expert level knowledge of Interdisciplinary coordination for all the Project phases.

• Expert in preparing HVAC layouts/3D model well-coordinated with all services and Utilities.
• Equipment selection like chillers, Hot water generators, Cooling Tower, Pumps, AHUs, Dehumidifiers, Blower, Ducting, Piping, insulation Controls, BMS.
• Procurements documents Enquiry, Tender, Material Requisition, Technical Bid Analysis (TBA).
• Improvement in Discipline capabilities, trainings, standards & Tools. Lead and supervise Engineers / Designers / Modelers.
• Developing and implementing Best Practices of Discipline.
• External coordination with Host / Client/Vendors and Internal coordination with other disciplines.
• Managing Model reviews with Host /Client.
• Mentoring the Engineers, Assistant & Training Engineers with the intent of securing properly trained personnel to ensure the continual expansion of the company.
• Assist Department Manager in day-to-day discipline activities (timesheet, appraisals, escalations, recruitments etc.) and all other activities as assigned by the Manager

Core Competencies

• Expert level knowledge in Advanced Technology Facilities, FMCG, Life Science and Industrial projects.
• At least +10 years of experience in Pharma / ATF Industry/Industrial projects
• Experience of dealing domestic and international clients by Onsite and Offsite coordination.
