Job Location: Initial 3 to 4 months in Hyderabad (Telangana), followed by relocation to Solapur (Maharashtra)
We are looking for a highly skilled HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Engineer to lead critical HVAC Systems operations within our pharmaceutical manufacturing environment at Synnat Pharma, a fast-growing leader in API production. You will be instrumental in ensuring GMP Regulations and Regulatory Compliance for Cleanroom HVAC, managing Air Handling Units (AHUs), and optimizing Chilled Water Systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
HVAC System Operations & Maintenance
- 1. Oversee the daily operation, monitoring, and performance of all HVAC systems, including AHUs, chillers, and ventilation systems, in pharmaceutical cleanroom environments.
- 2. Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for HVAC equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
- 3. Lead troubleshooting efforts and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for HVAC system malfunctions, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- 4. Manage external contractors and service providers for specialized HVAC maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- 5. Maintain detailed records of all HVAC system operations, maintenance activities, repairs, and calibration logs.
Regulatory Compliance & Validation
- 1. Implement and maintain robust air quality monitoring programs to ensure environmental conditions meet specified cleanroom classifications.
- 2. Participate in internal and external audits, providing expert support and documentation related to HVAC system compliance.
- 3. Prepare and review validation documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and change control requests related to HVAC systems.
- 4. Lead and support HVAC system validation activities, including IQ, OQ, PQ protocols, and revalidation processes for cleanrooms and critical production areas.
- 5. Ensure all HVAC systems and operations comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA, WHO, and other relevant pharmaceutical industry regulations and guidelines.
System Optimization & Energy Efficiency
- 1. Stay abreast of new HVAC technologies and industry best practices, evaluating their potential application within Synnat Pharma.
- 2. Utilize Building Management Systems (BMS) and other control systems to monitor, analyze, and optimize HVAC performance.
- 3. Evaluate and recommend upgrades or modifications to existing HVAC infrastructure to improve efficiency and meet evolving production requirements.
- 4. Conduct regular energy audits of HVAC systems and propose innovative solutions to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
- 5. Identify and implement strategies for HVAC system optimization to enhance performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.
Cross-functional Coordination & Project Support
- 1. Contribute to the development of capital expenditure proposals for HVAC-related projects and upgrades.
- 2. Act as a subject matter expert for HVAC-related inquiries and projects across the organization.
- 3. Train and mentor junior engineers and maintenance staff on HVAC system operations, maintenance best practices, and safety protocols.
- 4. Provide technical expertise and support for new facility designs, expansions, and equipment installations, ensuring HVAC considerations are met.
- 5. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Quality Assurance (QA), and Validation teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of HVAC systems.
