Job summary

TechOrbit Solutions Private Limited seeks an experienced SAP OpenText VIM specialist in Pune to lead end-to-end VIM projects, including implementation, upgrade and support for Accounts Payable and invoice automation. You will design, configure and optimize VIM workflows, integration points and capture channels, ensuring smooth production operations.

The role requires strong communication, stakeholder management and hands-on experience with SAP FI/MM integration, OCR, and content repositories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of SAP/OpenText VIM experience.
• End-to-end VIM implementation, rollout, upgrade and support.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering workshops, fit-gap analysis and solution design for AP and invoice automation.
• Configure and implement VIM Document Types, Process Options, Approval Workflows and exception handling.
• Integrate VIM with SAP FI/MM, IDOCs, Email, OCR solutions and other capture channels.
• Perform VIM upgrades, migrations, regression testing and cutover planning.
• Configure ArchiveLink, Content Repositories and Archive Server workflows.
• Provide L2/L3 production support and troubleshoot invoice processing issues.
• Prepare functional specs, configuration docs, test scripts and go-live activities.
• Collaborate with SAP teams and OpenText admins while mentoring junior consultants.

Responsibilities

• 8+ years of SAP experience with strong expertise in OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), including end-to-end implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.


• Lead requirement gathering workshops, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and business process mapping for Accounts Payable and invoice automation initiatives.


• Hands‑on experience in configuring and implementing VIM Document Types, Process Types, Process Options, Approval Workflows, Exception Handling, and Duplicate Check Rules.


• Expertise in integrating VIM with SAP FI/MM, IDOCs, Email, OCR solutions, EDI interfaces, and other invoice capture channels.


• Strong experience with OpenText ICC/BCC/IES/ICS4, OCR document capture, validation rules, indexing, and invoice processing automation.


• Perform VIM upgrades, migration activities, S/4HANA compatibility assessments, regression testing, cutover planning, and production deployment support.


• Configure and support ArchiveLink, Content Repositories, OpenText Archive Server/Core Archive, and document storage and retrieval processes.


• Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot invoice processing issues, workflow failures, OCR errors, posting exceptions, and performance bottlenecks.


• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, training materials, and support SIT, UAT, Go‑Live, and Hypercare activities.


• Collaborate with business users, SAP Functional Teams, Basis, ABAP, and OpenText administrators while mentoring junior consultants and driving successful project delivery
