Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a seasoned SAP VIM specialist in Bengaluru to lead implementation, enhancements and AMS support engagements. You will configure OpenText VIM components, manage invoice ingestion channels and collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and IT teams to ensure efficient, automated invoice processing.

The role requires 6–10 years of experience with SAP VIM, OpenText VIM, and SAP FI/AP integration.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of hands-on SAP VIM experience.
• Strong OpenText Vendor Invoice Management configuration and delivery expertise.
• Experience with SAP FI/AP processes and integration with procurement.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP VIM implementation, enhancements, rollout and AMS support engagements.
• Configure and maintain OpenText VIM components including DP, DP, Invoice Processing, Approvals, Process Types/Options, ArchiveLink, Document Type Configuration, and Business Center.
• Manage invoice ingestion channels (Email, OCR, IDOC, ICC/BCC, IES).
• Analyse production issues, perform root cause analysis and provide sustainable solutions.
• Monitor VIM workflows, queues and interfaces for smooth invoice processing.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Basis, Security and Technical teams.
• Prepare functional specs, test scripts and solution design documents.
• Support SIT, UAT, Go-Live, Hypercare and Post Go-Live activities.
• Drive continuous service improvements, automation initiatives and process optimisation.
• Mentor junior consultants and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
