Job summary

Aifalabs is seeking a Senior SAP OpenText VIM Techno-Functional Consultant to lead integration between OpenText VIM and SAP FICO/MM. The role emphasizes AP processing, workflow configurations, and ABAP troubleshooting, with strong L3 support responsibilities.

The candidate will work across SAP FICO, MM, AP, and technical teams to ensure seamless VIM migrations, testing, releases, and knowledge transfer in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of OpenText VIM experience with SAP FICO/MM integration knowledge.
• Strong understanding of AP, invoice processing, and Procure-to-Pay workflows.
• Hands-on experience with VIM workflows, ICC/OCR, and invoice approvals.
• Troubleshooting IDOCs, BAPIs, BADIs, BTEs, and ABAP debugging.
• Experience with VIM configuration, enhancements and custom developments.
• L3 production support and incident management proficiency.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or SAP Solution Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support for OpenText VIM integrated with SAP FICO/MM.
• Configure and troubleshoot VIM workflows, ICC/OCR, DP Processing and approvals.
• Support end-to-end AP, vendor invoices, and Procure-to-Pay cycles.
• Troubleshoot VIM-SAP integration issues involving IDOCs, BAPIs, BADIs, and exits.
• Perform ABAP debugging and assist VIM enhancements and custom developments.
• Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis, implement permanent fixes.
• Collaborate with SAP FICO/MM, MM, AP, procurement, and technical teams.
• Support testing, releases, upgrades, and S/4HANA VIM migration efforts.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge-base articles.
• Provide knowledge transfer and mentorship to L1/L2 support teams.

• Perform ABAP debugging and support VIM enhancements and custom developments.
