Job summary

H1 Hr Solutions in Mumbai seeks a Senior Manager Compliance to lead statutory audits and ensure adherence to labor laws for employees and contractors. The role involves coordinating with Operations and Accounts teams to timely submit all returns and maintain robust compliance MIS.

The incumbent should have solid experience in PF, ESIC, PT, and other regulatory areas, with a proven track record in conducting audits, updating checklists, and managing a team in a corporate or consultancy setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum graduate in any stream, Law, HR, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in statutory compliance, payroll compliance, or audit.
• Experience managing teams and audits across PAN India.
• Exposure to compliance audits in corporate/consultancy environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct statutory compliance audits across S&E Act Pan India, Contract Labour Act, Factory Act, PF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Bonus, and other applicable laws and statutory challans and returns for PF, ESIC, PT, factory Act, shops & Establishment Pan India CLRA.
• Verify and ensure adherence to all statutory requirements for employees and contractors.
• Review compliance documentation, registers, records, and returns.
• Prepare audit reports highlighting gaps, risks, and non-compliances with actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate with internal teams, Operations teams & Accounts teams for timely submission of statutory returns.
• Track changes in labor laws and regulations, updating internal compliance checklists accordingly.
• Closure of internal and external audits
• Maintain proper documentation and compliance MIS for management review.
• Filing of all annual returns including POSH returns.
• Ensuring all compliances are adhered, challan is generated & paid on time
• Conducting monthly internal Audits
• Supporting team with all compliance related proofs / notifications.
