SOMA is seeking a Senior Chemist to join our R&D team to develop new chemical processes from concept to scale-up. The role emphasizes extraction, purification, process optimization, and lab-scale process development, with hands-on experimentation and data-driven problem solving.

You will collaborate with engineering during pilot and scale-up activities and contribute to technology development from concept through proof-of-scale, ensuring robust technical documentation.

Formación

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field.
• 5+ years of industrial R&D experience.

About The Position

The role will focus on extraction, purification, process optimization, and lab-scale process development. We're seeking someone who enjoys hands-on experimentation, data-driven problem solving, and translating ideas into practical processes.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant industrial R&D experience

Key responsibilities
