Job summary

EY Bengaluru seeks an experienced QA/Automation engineer to lead integration testing across Benchling and Signals platforms. You will design and execute test cases in XRAY, validate data synchronization, and collaborate with integration teams to ensure end-to-end traceability from requirements to defects.

The role requires familiarity with REST/API testing, CI/CD, and test automation frameworks. You will contribute to ensuring data integrity and robust reagent lifecycle updates across systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Benchling or Signals integration testing.
• Understanding of integration testing for data synchronization workflows.
• Exposure to XRAY.
• Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework, Tosca preferred).
• Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines (nice-to-have).
• Familiarity with REST/API testing and data validation.
• Test case design and execution, regression and integration testing.
• Defect lifecycle management and traceability across requirements, scripts and defects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Benchling Technical Analysts and integration teams.
• Design, create, and execute test cases in XRAY (Jira-integrated).
• Validate integration flows for sample data synchronization and reagent lifecycle status updates.
• Validate metadata exchange between Benchling and Signals systems.
• Review and interpret integration design specifications for Signals/Benchling.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test scripts, and defects.

Requirements

• Relevant experience 5+ years
• Experience with: Benchling OR Signals (Revvity / Signals One) OR Scientific data systems or lab informatics (LIMS, inventory systems)
• Understanding of integration testing for data synchronization workflows
• Exposure to XRAY
• Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework, Tosca preferred)
• Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines (nice-to-have)
