Job summary

Acuity Analytics, the trading name of Acuity Knowledge Partners, is hiring for a Private Markets analyst in India to support cash and position reconciliations, fund activity tracking, and month-end processes.

The role requires 2–12+ years in fund accounting, asset servicing, or loan reconciliation, with strong Excel and data-analysis skills. Collaboration with custodians and fund managers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
• 2–12+ years of experience in fund accounting, asset servicing, loan syndication, and cash & position reconciliation.
• Proficiency in WSO or similar loan administration platforms.
• Strong understanding of Private Credit, leveraged loans, CLOs, syndicated lending, and loan lifecycle events.
• Advanced MS Excel and data analysis skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Client relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to prioritize work and perform under pressure.
• Strong team collaboration and process improvement mindset.
• Knowledge of AI capabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage automated cash and position reconciliations using Excel-based tools.
• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations for Private Credit and Private Equity funds.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve cash and position breaks, ensuring timely communication to stakeholders.
• Conduct three-way reconciliations between Loan Platforms, Custodians, and Fund Administrators.
• Reconcile historical transactions to clear aged breaks and ensure accurate reporting.
• Record, monitor, and track fund activities including capital calls, distributions, prepayments, and debt servicing transactions.
• Set up new loans by reviewing credit agreements, term sheets, and related legal documentation.
• Manage trade settlements in line with custody cash movements.
• Coordinate with custodians, banks, fund administrators, and PE fund managers to resolve issues.
• Support month-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and implement SOPs to improve efficiency and governance.
• Lead project management from structuring to delivery.

Job Purpose

The job role is in the Private Markets division at Acuity, one of the fastest growing segments within the firm. This opportunity is ideal for a private equity /investment banking / strategy consulting professional who is interested in working with leading global private equity funds and corporations.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup and manage automated cash and position reconciliations using Excel-basedtools.
• Performdaily cash and position reconciliations for Private Credit and Private Equityfunds.
• Identify,investigate, and resolve cash and position breaks, ensuring timelycommunication and escalation to relevant stakeholders.
• Conductthree-way position reconciliations between Loan Platforms, Custodians, and FundAdministrators, covering Par Value, Cost, and Market Value.
• Reconcilehistorical transactions to clear aged breaks and ensure accurate reporting.
• Record,monitor, and track fund activities including capital calls, distributions,prepayments, and debt servicing transactions.
• Setup new loans by reviewing credit agreements, term sheets, and related legaldocumentation.
• Managetrade settlements in accordance with custody cash movements.
• Proactivelycoordinate with custodians, banks, fund administrators, and private equity fundmanagers to resolve operational issues on a day-to-day basis.

• Developand implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by defining processes andinternal control frameworks to improve efficiency and governance.
• Leadproject management activities, including project structuring, planning,execution, and delivery conceptualization.
