Job summary

Acuity Analytics is seeking Analysts to join the Private Markets division in Gurugram. The role involves cash and position reconciliations, fund accounting support, and coordination with custodians and fund managers.

Ideal candidates have 2–12+ years of relevant experience and solid Excel/data analysis skills. Growth-minded professionals will work on month-end close, SOP development, and client management, with exposure to private credit, leveraged loans, CLOs, and syndicated lending.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 2–12+ years of experience in fund accounting, asset servicing, loan syndication, and cash and position reconciliation.
• Strong MS Excel and data analysis skills; understanding of private markets concepts.

Responsibilities

• Setup and manage automated cash and position reconciliations using Excel-based tools.
• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations for Private Credit and Private Equity funds.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve cash and position breaks with timely escalation to stakeholders.
• Conduct three-way reconciliations between Loan Platforms, Custodians, and Fund Administrators.

The job role is inthe Private Markets division at Acuity, one of the fastest growing segmentswithin the firm. This opportunity is ideal for a private equity /investmentbanking / strategy consulting professional who is interested in working withleading global private equity funds and corporations.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup and manage automated cash and position reconciliations using Excel-basedtools.
• Performdaily cash and position reconciliations for Private Credit and Private Equityfunds.
• Identify,investigate, and resolve cash and position breaks, ensuring timelycommunication and escalation to relevant stakeholders.
• Conductthree-way position reconciliations between Loan Platforms, Custodians, andFund Administrators, covering Par Value, Cost, and Market Value.
• Reconcilehistorical transactions to clear aged breaks and ensure accurate reporting.
• Record,monitor, and track fund activities including capital calls, distributions,prepayments, and debt servicing transactions.
• Setup new loans by reviewing credit agreements, term sheets, and related legaldocumentation.
• Executeloan servicing activities, including rollovers, payments, borrowings, feeprocessing, spread changes, and maturity date updates in line with agent banknotices.
• Managetrade settlements in accordance with custody cash movements.
• Proactivelycoordinate with custodians, banks, fund administrators, and private equityfund managers to resolve operational issues on a day-to-day basis.
• Supportand manage month-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, andtimely delivery.
• Developand implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by defining processes andinternal control frameworks to improve efficiency and governance.
• Provideclient management support by understanding project requirements, negotiatingtimelines, and addressing client queries.
• Leadproject management activities, including project structuring, planning,execution, and delivery conceptualization.
