Job summary

Acuity Analytics in Gurugram hires a Senior Associate for the Private Markets division to support NAV reviews, fund accounting, and investor reporting. The role targets professionals with 3-6 years’ experience in PE fund accounting, and involves handling Journal Entries, capital calls, distributions, and KPI development.

The candidate will onboard PE/Hybrid Funds on platforms like Investran, Geneva and eFront, prepare quarterly investor reports (NAV, DVPI, TVPI, IRRs) and drive process

Qualifications

• Review NAV and Financials of Private equity and Hybrid Funds, record Journal Entries, prepare monthly/quarterly/annual Financials, process payments, prepare investor notices.
• Review Capital Call and distribution workings along with notices and release to investors.
• Develop KPIs to improve process efficiency and ensure controls are in place.
• Onboard new PE/Hybrid Funds in accounting platforms (Investran, Geneva and eFront).
• Prepare quarterly reports to investors on funds’ and portfolio companies’ performance (NAV, DVPI, TVPI, IRRs).

Job Purpose

The job role is in the Private Markets division at Acuity, one of the fastest growing segments within the firm. This opportunity is ideal for a private equity /investment banking / strategy consulting professional who is interested in working with leading global private equity funds and corporations.

Key Responsibilities

The role would involve:

• oReview of NAV and Financials of the Private equity and Hybrid Funds that include recording Journal Entries, preparing monthly/Quarterly/Annual Financials, processing payments, preparing investor notices and various client reporting.
• oReview Capital Call and distribution workings along with notices and release to respective investors.
• oDevelop various KPIs to be followed and ensure all necessary controls are put in place in the process.
• oCreating / updating fund track record and reconciling the data using cash flow notices
• oManaging the client relationships for the Funds and individually handle the deliverable requirements on daily/weekly/monthly/Quarterly basis.

• oCash reconciliation for PE Funds
• Setting up SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) by laying down the processes and internal check frameworks to achieve the overall objective
• Client Management: Understanding project request, negotiate deadline and handling client queries
• CFA, Chartered Accountant, MBA from a top tier business school
• 2-4 years of strong experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Private Equity, Real Estate, PE Co-investment, PE Fund of Funds
• Strong in finance fundamentals and analytical skills
• Excellent in MS Excel to process varied data sets
• Knowledge of databases including Investran, Ilevel, Efront is an added advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
• Dedicated and motivated individuals having demonstrated academic excellence with project management, client relationship management, analytical, and teamwork skills
