Job summary

The Management Recruitment Group (MRG) seeks a senior architect to lead design efforts from concept through construction documentation in collaboration with a Design Director and multidisciplinary team.

You will produce presentations and detailed drawings, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with clients, consultants, and authorities to ensure project objectives are met. The role requires a strong architectural background and a track record in mixed-use developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or foreign equivalent.
• 10+ years of related project experience, preferably in commercial-led and residential-led mixed use.
• Registered Architect.
• Knowledge of materials, construction techniques and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Ideate in collaboration with the Design Director and the whole team to create innovative designs in response to complex challenges.
• Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production.
• Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives.
• Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings.
• Utilize hand rendering techniques to communicate design concepts.
• Maintain flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development.
• Demonstrate ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment as a quick learner.
• Communicate effectively, collaboratively and with team-consciousness.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to grow junior staff members.
• Participate in office culture and initiatives.
