Job summary

Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited is seeking a senior Interior Designer to lead the architectural design process for commercial interiors from concept to execution. You will drive cost-efficient, client-approved designs while ensuring quality and adherence to codes.

You will mentor junior team members and coordinate with MEP/QS teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 10–14 years of experience in commercial interior fit-outs/workplace design preferred.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Expertise in design development, execution drawings, and stakeholder management.
• Strong leadership and client-facing capabilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and design presentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of design playbooks and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in end-to-end client pitches including requirement gathering, design presentations, and timely RFP submission.
• Lead design stages from concept to schematic development and GFC drawings.
• Drive client presentations and secure design approvals.
• Coordinate with MEP, QS, and execution teams for seamless project delivery.
• Drive value engineering and cost optimization without compromising design quality.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and best design practices.
• Mentor and manage junior architects and draftsmen.
• Maintain high design standards across all projects.
