SENIOR ARCHITECT/ INTERIOR DESIGNER

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly capable Interior Designer / Architect with 8–10+ years of professional experience in the design industry to join our team.

The ideal candidate should be capable of handling projects independently from concept to completion, with strong expertise in design development, detailed drawings, consultant coordination, material selection, and on‑site execution and project management.

The role requires a hands‑on professional who can translate design concepts into well‑resolved, structurally sound and technical, and successfully executed spaces while maintaining design intent, quality, timelines, and coordination across all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Have a strong design ability and sensibility towards high end sustainable functional designing.
• Handle projects end‑to‑end, Designing, concept development and design presentations, documentation and site execution.
• Prepare detailed working drawings, construction drawings, furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, joinery details and other technical documentation.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, project managers and site teams.
• Take ownership of site execution, ensuring that the design intent, drawings, specifications and quality standards are accurately implemented.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections and identify/resolve design and execution issues proactively.
• Review shop drawings, material samples, mock‑ups and technical submissions from contractors and vendors.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, lighting, HVAC and other consultants wherever required.
• Develop material palettes, finishes, furniture specifications and other design components.
• Assist in BOQ, specifications, tender documentation and material/vendor coordination.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Required Skills & Software Proficiency

The candidate must have strong working knowledge and practical experience with:

• AutoCAD – Advanced proficiency in detailed working and construction drawings
• SketchUp – Strong 3D modelling and design development skills
• Adobe Photoshop – Presentation, visualization and image editing
• Microsoft Office / PowerPoint / Excel
• Knowledge of 3D visualization/rendering software such as V‑Ray, Enscape, Lumion, D5 or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with other relevant architecture/interior design and documentation software is desirable.

Candidates with strong end‑to‑end project ownership and hands‑on site execution experience will be preferred.
