Job summary

Iris Software invites an experienced automation engineer to join our team across Noida, Gurugram and Pune. This role focuses on building scalable Python-based automation frameworks for UI and API testing, with mentorship and strong emphasis on code quality and maintainability.

You should have 7–8 years of hands-on testing experience, proficiency with REST Assured, Selenium, CI/CD pipelines, and SQL. A passion for challenging problems and collaboration with product teams is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable Python-based automation frameworks for UI, API, microservices and integration testing.
• Define automation strategies, select appropriate tools, and establish best practices for coverage and maintainability.
• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines enabling shift-left testing and continuous delivery practices.
• Analyze system architecture with engineering teams to ensure testability and performance.
• Review automation scripts for standards and performance optimization.
• Mentor team members in Python automation frameworks and testing techniques.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align quality goals with business objectives.

• Design and architect scalable, maintainable, and reusable Python-based automation frameworks supporting UI, API, microservices, and integration testing.


• Define automation strategies, select appropriate tools, and establish best practices to maximize coverage, efficiency, and maintainability.


• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines enabling shift-left testing and continuous delivery practices.


• Analyze system architecture and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure applications are built with testability, scalability, and performance in mind.
