Job summary

Iris Software Inc. is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our Noida/Gurugram/Pune delivery hubs.

You will design, implement, and scale test automation across UI and API layers to ensure robust software delivery. You will own automation strategies, mentor teammates, and collaborate with product owners and architects to drive quality through CI/CD, advanced testing patterns, and reliable dashboards.

Qualifications

• Experience in API automation using REST Assured.
• Experience creating and developing automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of build, deployment and CI/CD processes.
• Ability to create and execute test cases.
• Familiarity with TDD and test design practices.
• Strong core Java programming skills.
• Selenium for test automation.
• Experience with MS SQL for data validation.

Responsibilities

Mandatory Skills

API Automation (REST Assured), Automation Framework Creation & Development, Basic Build + Deployment & CI/CD Knowledge, Test Case Creation and Execution, Test Design Practices (TDD), Core Java, Selenium, MS SQL

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, robust, and maintainable automation frameworks supporting UI, API, and integration testing across multiple applications.
• Define and implement automation strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring maximum coverage and efficiency.
• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines enabling continuous testing and faster feedback loops.
• Analyze system architecture and ensure applications are designed for testability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Review automation code and frameworks ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization.
• Mentor and guide team members in automation tools, frameworks, and engineering best practices improving team capability.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to align quality engineering practices with business objectives.
