Job summary

Iris Software Inc. in India invites a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our expanding QA team across Noida, Gurugram, and Pune. You will design and implement automated tests for UI, API, and backend systems, ensuring robust quality across our enterprise-grade apps.

You will collaborate with developers, align with CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to test design, reporting, and risk management while growing in a fast-paced, award-winning IT services environment.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in software QA and test automation.
• Experience with REST API automation and UI testing.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD integration and test planning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and run automated tests for UI, API, and backend systems.
• Collaborate with developers to understand architecture and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Write clean, modular test code following standards and version control.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across releases.
• Analyze results, log defects, and track resolutions.
• Improve automation coverage by converting repetitive manual tests.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint planning.

Job Description

Experience: 4-5 Years

Mandatory Skills:

API Automation (REST Assured), Automation Framework Creation & Development, Basic Build + Deployment & CI/CD Knowledge, Test Case Creation and Execution, Test Design Practices (TDD), Test Reporting & Risk Management, Core Java, JIRA, Selenium, MS SQL

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend systems using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured, or similar tools ensuring high test coverage.
• Collaborate closely with developers to understand application architecture, identify testability gaps, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Write clean, modular, reusable, and maintainable test code following coding standards and version control practices.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure application stability across releases.
• Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and ensure proper logging, tracking, and resolution of issues.
• Continuously enhance automation coverage by identifying repetitive manual test cases and converting them into automated scripts.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies contributing to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.
