Job summary

Iris Software, Inc. is hiring an Automation QA Engineer to design and implement scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.

You will drive test strategy, integrate with CI/CD, mentor peers, and partner with product and architecture teams to ensure quality across complex applications. Location options include Noida, Gurugram, or Pune, with a focus on API automation, Java-based testing, and robust data validation.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of relevant automation experience.
• Strong Java background with API automation expertise.
• Exposure to CI/CD and test automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing across multiple applications.
• Define and implement automation strategies aligned with business goals for maximum coverage.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and fast feedback.
• Analyze architecture to ensure testability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Review code and frameworks to ensure best practices and performance optimization.
• Mentor team members on automation tools, frameworks, and testing practices.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to align quality goals.
• Demonstrate ownership in driving quality initiatives and testing excellence.
• Communicate proactively to ensure stakeholder alignment and transparency.
• Promote knowledge sharing and end-to-end quality delivery across teams.

• Design and build scalable, robust, and maintainable automation frameworks supporting UI, API, and integration testing across multiple applications.
• Define and implement automation strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring maximum coverage and efficiency.
• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines enabling continuous testing and faster feedback loops.
• Analyze system architecture and ensure applications are designed for testability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Review automation code and frameworks ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization.
• Mentor and guide team members in automation tools, frameworks, and engineering best practices improving team capability.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to align quality engineering practices with business objectives.
