Job summary

Aumni is seeking a Senior Scrum Master in Maharashtra, India, to lead multiple Agile teams across the product lifecycle. You will facilitate ceremonies, coach stakeholders, and drive delivery excellence while removing impediments and managing risks in a distributed setup.

The role demands 8–10 years of IT experience with 4–5 years as a Scrum Master, and expertise with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Product Board. Hybrid work culture is offered with long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years IT experience with strong Scrum Master background.
• 4–5 years in a Scrum Master role.
• Experience coaching teams and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum.
• Experience handling multiple pods and cross-functional coordination.
• Preferred domain: Bond Market, Fixed Income, Capital Markets, Investment Banking & Financial Services.
• Mandatory certifications: CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Review, Retrospective, Backlog Refinement.
• Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile practices.
• Remove impediments and manage risks and dependencies.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain backlog.
• Drive sprint predictability and continuous improvement.
• Track Agile metrics: Velocity, Burndown, Cycle Time.
• Coordinate across development, QA, architecture, business, and release teams.
• Support release planning and retrospective activities.
• Ability to manage multiple pods simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Product Board, and Azure DevOps.

Job description

Position Summary

Looking for a Senior Scrum Master with 8–10 years of IT experience, including 4–5 years in a Scrum Master role, to manage and support multiple Agile teams/pods. The role will involve facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching teams and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum practices, removing impediments, managing dependencies and risks, and driving predictable delivery and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement.
• Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum best practices.
• Remove impediments and manage risks, dependencies, and action items.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy and prioritised backlog.
• Drive sprint predictability, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Track and report Agile metrics such as Velocity, Burndown, Cycle Time, Throughput, and Sprint Goal achievement.
• Coordinate across development, QA, architecture, business, and release management teams.
• Support release planning, execution, and retrospective activities.
• Ability to manage multiple pods simultaneously
• Proficiency in Project Management tools like Jira, Confluence, Product Board

Required Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience in Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe Agile.
• Experience managing one or more Agile Scrum teams.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, stakeholder management, and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Agile reporting tools.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.

Experience:

8-10 years IT experience, including 4-5 years as a Scrum Master

Preferred Domain:

Bond Market, Fixed Income, Capital Markets, Investment Banking & Financial Services

Mandatory Certifications:

CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) – (anyone)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting US‑based customers and distributed delivery teams.
• Exposure to Agile transformation initiatives.
