Job summary

Aumni is seeking a Senior Scrum Master in Pune to guide multiple Agile pods, coaching teams and stakeholders on Scrum practices. You will facilitate ceremonies, remove blockers, and help manage dependencies to ensure predictable delivery.

With 8–10 years in IT and 4–5 years in a Scrum Master role, you will lead Agile transformation efforts, work with globally distributed teams, and contribute to product development within a services-to-product mindset at Aumni.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years IT experience, including 4–5 years in a Scrum Master role.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, conflict-resolution skills.
• Mandatory/Preferred certifications: CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement.
• Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum best practices.
• Remove impediments and manage risks, dependencies, and action items.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy and prioritised backlog.
• Drive sprint predictability, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Track and report Agile metrics such as Velocity, Burndown, Cycle Time, Throughput, and Sprint Goal achievement.
• Coordinate across development, QA, architecture, business, and release management teams.
• Support release planning, execution, and retrospective activities.

Job description

Position Summary:

Looking for a Senior Scrum Master with 8–10 years of IT experience, including 4–5 years in a Scrum Master role, to manage and support multiple Agile teams/pods. The role will involve facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching teams and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum practices, removing impediments, managing dependencies and risks, and driving predictable delivery and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement.
• Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum best practices.

• Ability to manage multiple pods simultaneously
• Proficiency in Project Management tools like Jira, Confluence, Product Board
• Strong hands-on experience in Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe Agile.
• Experience managing one or more Agile Scrum teams.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Agile reporting tools.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.

Experience

8-10 years IT experience, including 4-5 years as a Scrum Master

Preferred Domain

Bond Market, Fixed Income, Capital Markets, Investment Banking & Financial Services

Mandatory Certifications

CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) – (anyone)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting US-based customers and distributed delivery teams.
• Exposure to Agile transformation initiatives.
