Job summary

Fact Personnel seeks an experienced SCM Supervisor to coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities in the Chennai region. You will manage procurement, material planning, international and domestic sourcing, inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse operations and inventory controls to ensure timely material supply to production.

The role emphasizes hands-on setup during factory ramp-up, development of local Indian sourcing, and eventual leadership of a small team covering purchasing,

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, material planning, and logistics.
• Experience with international procurement and import logistics.
• Ability to lead SCM process improvements and system development.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end management and coordination of SCM activities including procurement, planning, sourcing, logistics, warehousing and inventory management.
• Lead and supervise a small team covering purchasing, warehouse and logistics as operations stabilize.
• Develop local sourcing strategies in India following initial focus on BOM materials from international suppliers.

Role & responsibilities

The SCM Supervisor will be responsible for the end-to-end management and coordination of Supply Chain activities, covering procurement, material planning, international and domestic sourcing, inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management, and timely supply of materials to production.

The role will initially focus on the management and supply of BOM materials from China and other international suppliers, followed by the development and implementation of local sourcing in India.

The position will play a key role during the factory setup and ramp-up phase, requiring a hands‑on approach to establishing SCM processes, systems, suppliers, logistics arrangements, warehouse operations and inventory controls. As operations stabilize, the incumbent will lead and supervise a small team covering purchasing, warehouse and logistics activities.
