Role Description

The Salesperson role at LUPFIGS INDIA is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Salesperson is responsible for identifying and engaging potential customers, presenting grinding and surface finishing solutions, and demonstrating how tools and accessories meet client needs. Daily activities include visiting customer locations, conducting product presentations, preparing quotations, following up on leads, and closing sales. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, providing post-sale support, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. The Salesperson is also expected to track market trends, gather feedback, and contribute to sales planning and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Knowledge of industrial products, machining, or surface finishing processes, or a willingness to learn these technical aspects quickly.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical solutions in clear, simple terms.
• Proven ability to work independently in the field, manage time efficiently, and meet sales targets.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office or similar tools for preparing proposals, reports, and maintaining customer records.
• Prior experience in B2B sales, particularly in manufacturing or engineering sectors, is an advantage.
• Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree or diploma in engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in English and local languages used in Chennai; willingness to travel within the region as required.
