Job summary

Exide Industries Limited in Mumbai seeks an engineer to interface with customers, evaluate projects, and coordinate tenders for UPS and power-electronic products.

You will visit sites, read drawings, install and maintain battery chargers and banks, troubleshoot faults, and help drive growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Generate weekly and daily reports.

Job description

• Evaluate projects and collect feedback from existing and prospective customers
• Experience on preparation of Tender and offer to the customer
• Identify new opportunities (product/ market) for future growth
• Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data from different sites, i.e. GEM etc.
• Read the drawing properly and understand technical requirements from customer
• Installation & Maintenance: Preferably Installing of new battery chargers / battery banks/ DCDB/ACDB/ BHMS etc., conducting routine maintenance, and performing repairs.
• Site visit to understand the requirement of job in respect of modification and service
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues and electrical/ Circuit , etc. faults.
• Follow-up with customer for order optimization
• Follow up with customer for payment
• Generations of different weekly and daily reports.
• Proper documentation Meeting with internal teams on different issues.

Experience & Qualifications:

• B.E or 3 years Diploma in Electrical/Electronics
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably in UPS, battery, battery charger, or related power-electronics products.
