Job summary

Nutanix is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide UPS maintenance, preventive maintenance, and installation services at customer sites in India. The role involves coordinating with clients and engineers, owning end-to-end RT & TAT per SLA, handling escalations, and delivering training and demonstrations to ensure safe, effective equipment use.

Candidate should possess BE/B.Tech with 5 years of relevant experience or Diploma with 8 years, with strong knowledge of electrical and electronics

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service for UPS Break Down Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance & installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers and technicians to ensure service delivery.
• Own and ensure end-to-end responsibility of RT & TAT as per SLA.
• Handle and resolve escalations within committed SLA.
• Conduct regular training for FSEs & Sr. FSEs.
• Execute projects and coordinate with vendors.
• Assign calls to ASPs and ensure task completion.
• Hold regular meetings with key accounts.
• Follow up on service requests and provide customer feedback.
• Perform quality assurance and safety checks on equipment.
• Deliver demonstrations to educate customers on safe use of equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and develop preventive maintenance measures.
• Provide recommendations on new features and product improvements.
• Write reports and present findings to managers.

Job description

What you’ll do:

• Providing high level of customer service in handling 3-phase UPS Break Down Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance & installation and commissioning.
• Communicating with clients, engineers, and other technicians to ensure that services are delivered effectively.
• Should Own & Ensure end to end responsibility of RT & TAT for the customer as per committed SLA
• Handling & Resolving Escalations within Committed SLA
• Regular Training to be conducted for the FSEs & Sr. FSEs
• Ability to execute projects and related vendor coordination.
• Assign calls to ASPs and closely working with to get task completion.
• Need to Regular Meetings with All Major / Key Accounts
• Promptly following up on service requests and providing customer feedback.
• Conducting quality assurance and safety checks on all equipment
• Delivering demonstrations to ensure that customers are educated on safe and effective equipment use
• Monitoring equipment and machinery performance and developing preventative maintenance measures, establishing field test methods and monitoring the quality of those tests.
• Providing recommendations about new features and product improvements required.
• Writing reports and presenting findings to Managers and Supervisors on a regular basis.
• To ensure the measuring instruments are calibrated and all items are available in the tool kit to use on field as and when required.

Other Responsibilities

• To search for various business opportunities to increase service revenue by means of generating enquiries for AMC, UPS accessories & batteries etc.
• Ability to handle team of 2-3 contract engineers if required

Qualifications:
