Job summary

Vijay Electricals Corporation in Pune seeks a Marketing Executive / Sales Executive (B2B) to bring in new industrial clients and manage existing relationships. You will meet plant managers, maintenance heads and purchase teams, understand transformer needs, and convert enquiries into orders.

The role involves field travel within Maharashtra, negotiating terms, and preparing timely quotations in coordination with the technical team. A 1–3 year track record in industrial sales is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a graduate in Marketing, Business or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years in sales or marketing, preferably in transformer/electrical/power/industrial B2B sector.

Responsibilities

• Identify and approach new industrial clients such as factories, MIDC units, power distribution companies and contractors.
• Visit client sites to understand transformer repair, rewinding, rental, oil filtration and maintenance requirements.
• Follow up on leads generated from Facebook, Google, Instagram, LinkedIn and referrals.
• Prepare and send quotations in coordination with the technical team.
• Negotiate pricing and terms, and close orders.
• Maintain regular contact with existing clients to secure repeat business and maintenance contracts.
• Keep a record of client visits, enquiries and follow-ups, and share weekly reports.
• Collect market and competitor information and share it with management.
• Represent the company professionally with clients and at industry events.

About the Role

Vijay Electricals Corporation is a Pune-based provider of power and distribution transformer services: rewinding, repair, rental, oil filtration, and maintenance. We are looking for a motivated Marketing Executive / Sales Executive to bring in new industrial clients and build long-term relationships with existing ones.

You will be the link between our workshop and the market, meeting plant managers, maintenance heads and purchase teams, understanding their transformer needs, and converting enquiries into orders.

What Success Looks Like

• A steady flow of qualified leads every month from industrial areas and MIDC zones
• Enquiries converted into quotations, and quotations into confirmed orders
• Strong relationships with clients, leading to repeat work and annual maintenance contracts
• Clear reporting on visits, leads and conversions

How This Role Fits Into the Organization

You will work closely with the Marketing Head, the technical and workshop team, and management. You will bring customer requirements to the technical team and make sure clients get timely quotations and follow-up. Your field feedback will also help shape our service offerings and online marketing.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Marathi and Hindi
• Good negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Basic understanding of electrical equipment, especially transformers (preferred)
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, email and WhatsApp for business communication
• Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable with field work
