Abacus Consultants is seeking a Sales Manager for Personal/Unsecured Loans to drive loan sourcing and portfolio growth. You will manage Direct Selling Agent networks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely loan processing and compliant operations.

The role focuses on building strong partnerships, achieving sales targets, and optimizing the loan journey from onboarding to disbursement in a dynamic retail lending environment.

Responsibilities

• DSA Network Management: Identify and onboard DSAs and channel partners to generate loan leads.
• Sales Target Execution: Plan and execute monthly and quarterly sales strategies to meet branch targets.
• Loan Journey Coordination: Guide customers through the loan lifecycle from application to disbursement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Credit, Legal, Technical, and Operations to ensure quick TAT and service quality.
• Portfolio Health & Compliance: Ensure proper documentation and adherence to policies and risk parameters.
• Market Monitoring: Track competitors, run promotions, and prepare MIS reports.

Role & responsibilities

A Sales Manager for Personal/Unsecured Loans (and related business/retail lending channels) manages Direct Selling Agent (DSA) networks to drive loan sourcing, acquisition, and portfolio growth.

Key Responsibilities

• DSA Network Management: Identify, onboard, and build strong relationships with new and existing DSAs, connectors, and channel partners to generate continuous loan leads.
• Sales Target Execution: Plan and execute monthly and quarterly sales strategies to achieve or overachieve branch and regional targets.
• Loan Journey Coordination: Guide customers and channel partners through the entire loan lifecyclefrom preliminary financial assessment and application logging to sanction and disbursement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Credit, Legal, Technical, and Operations teams to maintain optimum Turnaround Time (TAT) and smooth service delivery.
• Portfolio Health & Compliance: Ensure quality sourcing, proper documentation, and adherence to company policies and risk parameters.
• Market Monitoring: Track competitor practices, conduct promotional activities, and handle Management Information System (MIS) reporting.
