Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets.
• Generate new business opportunities and expand the customer base in Mysuru and surrounding areas.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, builders, fabricators, and institutional customers.
• Conduct regular market visits and identify new projects and business opportunities.
• Handle field sales and ensure effective market coverage.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, market trends, and customer requirements.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with customers.
• Follow up on enquiries, orders, payments, and deliveries.
• Achieve sales, revenue, and collection targets.
• Prepare regular sales reports and provide market feedback to management.
• Lead and guide the sales team, if applicable.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in steel sales / TMT / MS products / structural steel / construction materials.
• Good knowledge of the Mysuru and surrounding markets.
• Strong dealer and customer network will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
